UI/UX Design

Interface design that engineering can build, because the flow was settled before the pixels were.

What this work is

Design here means the structure of a task: what the person is trying to do, what they need to see, and what happens when something goes wrong. Visual design follows that structure. The result is specified far enough that engineering is not guessing at behaviour.

Problems this usually addresses

Engineering starts before the flow is known

Screens get built, then rebuilt, because the task was never written down.

The interface exposes the database

Every field is on screen because it exists, not because someone needs it for the job.

A picture cannot be built as drawn

A design that ignores states, errors, and small screens creates a second project during engineering.

Typical capabilities

  • Task flows for staff and customers
  • Screen structure, including empty, loading, and error states
  • Interface writing in plain language
  • A visual system consistent enough to extend after the first release
  • Specs that engineering can implement without a parallel interpretation

Engineering approach

Design stays in the same conversation as engineering. Restrowise and Swaasa Office are shipped interfaces, not concept frames. We do not treat design as a handoff that ends when a file is exported.

How an engagement runs

The design step is finished when the main paths, the awkward exceptions, and the small-screen layout are decided.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn the operation, the users, and the constraints before proposing software.

  2. 02

    Plan

Scope, architecture, and a sequence of work that can be reviewed while it is being built.

  3. 03

    Design

Flows and interface structure, resolved far enough that engineering is not guessing.

  4. 04

    Engineer

Production-minded increments, with direct conversation from the people writing the code.

  5. 05

    Test

Behaviour, integrations, and the paths people actually take, checked before release.

  6. 06

    Launch & Evolve

Release, then stay with the product so it remains maintainable as the business changes.

Questions we are often asked

Do you design without building?

We can lead the design of a product another team will build, if the handoff is specific enough. Most of our work continues into engineering.

Will you redesign a product that already works?

Only where the current interface is getting in the way of the work. A visual refresh with no change in the task is rarely the useful project.

Do you follow a separate design-system product?

We use a consistent interface language inside a product, often with Material UI. We do not claim a public design-system certification.
